To support this, Yarra Trams is looking for an experienced Support Analyst to provide technical maintenance and support services for enterprise applications.

What the role entails
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed Application Support Analyst to join an established team and undertake preventative and reactive maintenance of a wide range of enterprise applications.

Reporting to the Application Support Team Manager, this role will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to deliver required services in support of our contractual obligations to the Department of Transport.
The role involves:
• Analysing business requirements/processes, documentation and providing feedback to stakeholders;
• Configuring, documenting, implementing and maintaining application components and changes;
• Coordinating service requests as assigned through Service Management process;
• Undertaking problem and incident management;
• Undertaking timely reactive, preventative maintenance and support activities outside ordinary hours where required;
• Developing and maintaining application Functional Specification documentation;
• Performing Level 2 and follow up activities with the development team or vendors where required;
• Undertaking on-site renewals and commissioning as required;
• Participating in unit testing and user acceptance testing of the applications;
• Participating in a 24/7 on-call roster.

What you will need for this role
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or significant proven experience, relevant to this discipline;
• Experience in implementing, configuring, maintaining, supporting complex, business critical applications;
• Proven requirement analysis, root cause analysis and investigation experience within a software application function;
• Experience in managing stakeholder, user and vendor relationships;
• Strong written and verbal communications skills to ensure effective communication with all levels of the business;
• Experience in a subset of the following areas/applications: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); Enterprise Asset Management Systems, preferably IBM Maximo; Microsoft SharePoint / Power Apps; Microsoft Azure Integration Services; Microsoft Azure DevOps; SAP SuccessFactors; SAP Concur; Microsoft Dynamics GP; PowerShell scripting; Smartphone Apps (iOS/Android); ServiceNow
