To deliver on their vision, Keolis Downer requires the services of an experienced HSQE Manager to develop the rail safety accreditations and HSQE strategy critical to the success of our bids.
What the role entailsThis position is a great opportunity for an experienced Safety professional to ensure Keolis Downer operates is a safe environment.
Reporting to the Head of Project Management Office, the role involves:• Preparing the Safety Management Plan;• Preparing the plans / timelines for the different accreditations, including but not limited to RSO (Rolling Stock Operator) / RIM (Rail Infrastructure Manager) / AEO (Authorised Engineering Organisation);• Setting up the framework of the Quality Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan and the WHS Management Plan;• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation;• Participating in the pre-tender work to understand the opportunity, develop a win strategy, develop a bid budget, and identify the resource needs to be able to effectively respond (both internal and external);• Critically evaluating the initiatives proposed for the tender against client needs and ensuring compliance;• Coordinating knowledge sharing and case studies with the wider Keolis Downer, Keolis and Downer Groups.
What you will need for this roleTo be successful in this role, you will have:• A full understanding of rail safety and the accreditation process;• Experience in public transport operations – preferably rail – and/or transferable public services in a competitive market;• Demonstrable ability to engage and communicate with staff at all levels, including with Executives;• Competence in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
