To deliver on their vision, Keolis Downer requires the services of an experienced law practitioner to manage all legal and contractual activities related to business development and bidding, as part of the bid team.
What the role entailsThis position is a great opportunity for an experienced legal professional to advise Keolis Downer on legal related matters.
Reporting to the Head of Project Management Office, the role involves:• Negotiation of a wide range of contractual documentation (bidding agreements, subcontracts, etc.) to the best interest of Keolis Downer.• Advising the bid team on the tender and contractual documentation and developing business-oriented solutions with the support of external law firm, if needed;• Selecting external law firms and liaising with them directly, following-up and ensuring compliance with the agreed fee budgets;• Preparing the legal/commercial risk matrix on projects and associated mitigations and supporting the legal teams of the shareholders of Keolis Downer in the preparation of their respective governance committees;
What you will need for this roleTo be successful in this role, you will have:• A Corporate law background;• 4 to 6 years' experience in the legal department of a large group or in the department of a law firm in charge with infrastructure / PPP / transport projects; • Experience working in an international environment or with international companies;• Strong experience in negotiation in complex contractual environments;• Strong communication and writing/drafting skills;• Competence in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);• Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus
