To deliver on their vision, Keolis Downer requires the services of an experienced Financial Controller to manage finance processes of Keolis Downer and act as a key liaison with the Keolis team in Paris.

What the role entails
This position is a great opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to make a significant contribution to the efficient management and reporting of the Keolis Downer Group finances.

Reporting to the Head of Regional Finance, the role involves:
• Following up on business development financial impact: commercial opportunities pipeline, tender costs and On Demand transport trials;
• Managing the Finance processes of our Holding entities; payroll, end of month closing, intercompany reconciliation, reporting, audit of financial statements, budget and forecast;
• Managing treasury and cash: payments, cash flow, financing (dividends and loans) and guarantees;
• Supervising tax activities with accountants and tax advisors;
• Following up on major investments at Corporate level (approval, deviation against budget, impact on cash flow);
• Leading Finance projects;
• Supervising contractor work.

What you will need for this role
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance;
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in general accounting and management accounting;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Strong ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation, including interacting with Finance teams locally in Australia and with Group HQ in Paris;
• Knowledge of the public transport industry is advantageous;
• Proficiency in MS Office, Business Object Finance, Hyperion Smartview;
• Fluency in the French language an advantage.
